Our strong belief is that these skills cannot be aquired in a classroom context. It's practical, on the job training with skills being assimilated by demonstration.

Planys works extensively with Scottish Enterprise helping to develop and provide commercial development interventions that help businesses to grow. Here are some examples of interventions developed in collaborations with SE:

  • Breakthrough Barriers - Deep business diagnostics that help client management teams identify and overcome barriers to growth. Also facilitates the design of more effective interventions.
  • Commercial Support Workshops - A series of 3 workshops for businesses involved in product/service development that integrate commercial planning with the product/service development at the earliest stages. Objective is to assure commercial success.
  • Commercial Breakthrough Service (CBS) - A programme of business specific diagnostics and implementation support over a 12 month period. Businesses participating in the pilot for this service grew revenue by 260% on average within the 12 months and, more importantly, acquired commercial capabilities and skills for sustainable growth.
